We knew ahead of time that we would not spend too much time in this park, but enjoyed exploring this unique place while we were there. After a short stop at the Visitor Center, our family hiked the Boardwalk Trail for almost three miles, which led us above the swamps and through the old-growth trees of the park. It was a humid day, but we saw so many different insects and animals along our route! This was an incredible glimpse into the unique ecosystem of Congaree National Park.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
